Employment Services

Building Service Worker Training (BSW)

Approved by WorkBC

Unemployed

Spanish speaking

Must be on EI OR have had a claim in the last 5 years OR have earned more than $2,000 in insurable earnings and paid employee EI premiums on those earnings in at least 5 of the last 10 years OR A British Columbia Employment and Assistance Client (BCEA)

English at CLB 4/5+

Commit to 7 weeks of in-person training and a 3-week work placement

Either a Canadian Citizen, Permanent Resident, or Refugee (protected person) with valid work permit

Living in the Metro Vancouver area

Between 16-29 years old

Living in British Columbia

Unemployed or precariously employed

Canadian citizens, permanent residents or protected person (under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act, S.C. 2001, c. 27) legally entitled to work in Canada

Not receiving financial supports from another provincially or federally funded labour market program.

The MOSAIC Fast Track to Manufacturing Plus (F2M Plus) Program helps youth (age 16-29) find a career in Canada.
