Permanent residents aged 17 years or older

Newcomers approved for Permanent Residency

Convention refugees

Take our free English Classes through LINC (Language Instruction for Newcomers in Canada) in Burnaby, Surrey, Vancouver and Online. MOSAIC LINC class certificates can be used for Canadian Citizenship application.

Social and Civic Opportunities: Pathways to Equity Program (SCOPE)

Have strong English skills (CLB 7+)

Identify as a racialized immigrant

Passionate about social and civic engagement

Residency status intending to live in Canada long term

Have solid volunteering and/or work experience

Flexibility to attend training every other Saturday for four months

Previous experience serving on boards and committees is an asset

SCOPE helps immigrants in Canada to positively impact their communities by engaging in social & civic initiatives such as boards, committees
