Are you a youth (age 16 – 28) struggling to adapt to Canada? Moving Ahead FreeRunning newcomer youth programs will help you get the skills you need to succeed.
This program helps vulnerable immigrant and refugee youth who struggle to adjust to life in Canada. Support is available to find a job, socialize, and gain life and leadership skills.
Services are available in Amharic, Dari, Farsi, Pashto, Tigrigna, Arabic, Turkish, French and English.
This newcomer youth program is for youth who struggle with:
Youth in the program receive a Case Manager to provide customized one-to-one support. They can provide home visits, come with you to appointments, offer workshops, and connect you with other services and programs.
They will also help you:
All registrants will do an assessment before joining the program. Ineligible youths will be referred to other programs.
