Annual Job Fair goes virtual

April 28, 2021

For the first time ever, MOSAIC’s Annual Job Fair is going virtual.

On Tuesday, May 18, more than 50 companies looking to fill hundreds of jobs will be available to meet virtually with job seekers in the Lower Mainland. Representing sectors ranging from technology to healthcare, the Job Fair is a unique opportunity to connect with potential employers.

“Going virtual gives our participants the opportunity to build professional profiles and access the digital booths for the employers prior to the event so they can research the available jobs and target their goal employers. It also allows job seekers to have on-the-spot interviews and uninterrupted interactions with recruiters,” said Michael Radano, Director of Employment, Language and Social Enterprise at MOSAIC.

Backed by Scotiabank, Amazon and WorkBC, MOSAIC’s Job Fair has a track record of supporting job seekers in their employment search. Of 2019’s 2500 attendees, 80% said they were able to connect with the employer they came to see.

“We’re pleased that our 9th Annual Job Fair will support both job seekers and employers as we emerge from the economic downturn caused by the pandemic,” said Radano.
