Next Steps is a free program for women in business looking to succeed in occupations such as sales, bookkeeping, project management, or administrative roles, who face multiple barriers to joining the job market.

We are deeply grateful for the overwhelming response we received—more than 800 inquiries—showing your trust in MOSAIC and truly warming our hearts. As we have now fulfilled our program goals, we are no longer accepting new applications. A formal closure announcement will be shared in March 2026, and program contact information will close at that time.
While the program is ending, MOSAIC remains committed to supporting newcomers. We encourage you to visit your local WorkBC Centre for employment services, workshops, and training opportunities. What we ask of you:
. Full Commitment: Be fully available for six weeks of training and committed to full time work.
. Career Dedication: Ready to embark on a three-month journey in the workforce.
. Language Proficiency: English skills at CLB 6 or equivalent (TOEFL, IELTS, CELPIP or other tests or assessments).
Our program is designed for women in business and is full-time, with sessions scheduled daily from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm.
No, the program is designed to be hybrid, with in-person sessions happening at MOSAIC’s Highgate Village and via Zoom sessions, ensuring that women in business get comprehensive training.
No, the program does not offer childcare services. However, it does provide financial support during the training, which you can use to arrange it while pursuing your career in business.
Our program’s goal is to connect women in business with job opportunities that match their experience and education. This includes roles in office administration, project management, bookkeeping, sales, among others.
