MOSAIC named Great Workplace Managed By Women

December 19, 2020

MOSAIC is proud to announce that under the leadership of Chief Executive Officer Olga Stachova, we have been named to the 2020 list of the Best Workplaces Managed by Women.

The list is based on direct feedback from employees of the hundreds of organizations that were surveyed by Great Place to Work®, and was received after a thorough and independent analysis.

To be eligible for this list, organizations must be Great Place to Work – Certified™ in the past year and have a female president or CEO.

“I am delighted that MOSAIC has received this recognition based on our employees’ feedback. With more than 300 staff members, we have worked hard to ensure that individuals feel valued and supported. It is truly a team effort,” said Stachova, adding that there is always more that can and should be done to continue to reflect the values of being a Great Place to Work.

Stachova first became CEO of MOSAIC in June 2018. She joined MOSAIC after a long career as Chief Operating Officer at Mitacs, a national non-profit organization delivering research and training programs to graduate and postgraduate students in Canada through partnerships with the private sector and the federal and provincial governments. Stachova brings more than two decades of experience managing non-profit organizations, as well as operational expertise in program design, delivery, and evaluation, and a proven track record of building strategic partnerships among diverse stakeholder groups.

“The MOSAIC Board of Directors is pleased to see that the commitment to fostering diversity, equity and inclusion is reflected through staff feedback, and through the honour of being one of the Best Workplaces Managed by Women” said Dr. Christian Duff, Board Chair.

MOSAIC also received the Best Workplaces™ in Canada Managed by Women designation in 2018, and was recognized on the Best Workplaces™ in Canada (100-999 employees) list in 2019 and 2020. Additionally, MOSAIC was named on the Best Workplaces™ in British Columbia list in 2018.
