Join us for the 2021 Immigrant Professionals Conference

October 5, 2021

Power your career and excel in the new job market with MOSAIC’s 2021 Immigrant Professionals Conference!

The free conference, to be held October 22 and 23, will take place virtually and feature exhibitor booths from Douglas College, Pacific Immigrant Resources Society, WorkBC and more. Attendees can participate from the comfort of their own homes while furthering their professional development, hearing from inspiring speakers, and accessing networking opportunities.

This year’s keynote speaker is Eric Termuende, cofounder of NoW Work, author of the bestselling book Rethink Work, and global keynote speaker. His presentation, One Degree Shifts: Building an Intentional Future, will address long term goals and achieving career success.

“Going virtual has made MOSAIC’s Immigrant Professionals Conference more accessible to immigrant professionals from across Canada and around the globe. The first virtual version of IPC had 430 attendees from 16 different countries,” said Larry Chan, Senior Manager of Employment Programs at MOSAIC.

Conference participants will also have the opportunity to hear from RBC, Providence Health Care, Microsoft, and City of Vancouver representatives who will share their experiences with navigating changes in the job market.

“This year’s employer panel looks to be even better than previous years. It’s important for immigrant professionals to be able to hear from people working in the fields they’re interested in,” said Chan.

MOSAIC’s Immigrant Professionals Conference is sponsored by the Royal Bank of Canada and WorkBC Employment Services.
