Joan Andersen, Director of Employment and Language Programs, won this year’s ASPECT Leadership award at the November 8-9, 2012 ASPECT conference in Victoria, B.C. The award is given to individuals or organizations who exemplify a commitment to and advancement of the principles of community-based employment training. Joan has demonstrated leadership and integrity in developing and implementing innovative partnerships for the new EPBC, anchored on the shared values that client needs are a priority and that community-based service providers are the best vehicles for service delivery.
