Event Brochure

This event is organized by the Migrant Workers Program. We operate within Canada.

The following are some of the services we provide through our program.

  1. Helping migrant workers in the province of British Columbia learn about their workplace rights and how to access services.
  2. Helping employers understand their legal obligations and duties when hiring workers.
  3. Distributing funds to over 20 non-profit agencies to support workers and their employers.
  4. Working closely with partner agencies to build capacity through sharing resources and providing direct support for migrant workers.

Program objectives

  • Migrant workers: To help them understand their rights working and living in Canada and supporting them in accessing free services.
  • Employers: To help them understand their responsibilities under the Temporary Foreign Worker Program and International Mobility Program
  • Not-for-profits: To provide support so they can better meet the needs of migrant workers and their employers
