Mental Health and Wellness Program

This program promotes mental well-being and provides mental health support to both staff and clients of MOSAIC.

This counselling service is available for MOSAIC clients only.
Clients must be referred by a MOSAIC staff member and be actively receiving supports from or participating in a MOSAIC program.

Eligibility

Clients must be referred by a MOSAIC staff member, and be actively receiving supports from or participating in a MOSAIC program.

Referral guidelines and form are attached below.

The program accept clients who would like support navigating issues, such as:

  • Life changes (such as moving to a new country, grief, becoming a parent, starting a new job, separation, or housing stress)
  • Stress, burnout, depression and/or anxiety

  • Difficulties with substance use
  • Current or past effects of trauma (e.g. flashbacks, nightmares, insomnia, panic attacks)

Program Description

The program strives to bring a change in the narrative around mental health, spread awareness, and create spaces that respect and reflect the diverse communities we serve. Our goal is to foster a safe, inclusive environment where everyone feels empowered, supported, and cared for.

The program provides the following services:

  • Individual counselling sessions (clients only)
  • Group counselling sessions (clients only)
  • Customized Program Support Sessions (staff)

The program is available to individuals who work at MOSAIC or are clients of a program at MOSAIC. Clients can be referred by staff by way of the mental health and wellness program referral form.

Available Locations

Services are offered at various MOSAIC sites.
We also offer services online and telephonically if needed.
