You’re Invited! MOSAIC Head Office Open House – Sept. 26

September 1, 2017

Please join us for the official opening celebration of MOSAIC’s new head office! Tour the facility, meet staff and learn more about our services.

When: Tuesday, September 26, 2017 – 1-3pm
Where: 5575 Boundary Road, Vancouver

MOSAIC’s new 23,000 square foot space is owned by the City of Vancouver and designated as a community amenity, with MOSAIC as the operator. We are very appreciative to the City of Vancouver for providing a beautiful new facility that will help MOSAIC to better serve refugees and other newcomers.

Great place to work
Our new headquarters includes over 100 staff offices and work stations, a large community room, a welcome centre, eight meeting rooms, a computer lab and a child-friendly family counselling space.

For 30 years, 1720 Grant Street served as MOSAIC’s headquarters. Over the past four decades, our organization has expanded from this single location to today’s 26 locations where clients can access MOSAIC’s services and programs in their own neighbourhoods across Metro Vancouver.

Discussions with the City of Vancouver regarding a future home for MOSAIC were ongoing for a dozen years, with the Wall Centre Central Park site confirmed in 2013.

MOSAIC wishes to acknowledge the efforts of our Board Space Committee in helping to secure the site and in the provision of ongoing guidance throughout the planning process. Committee members include: board members Adam Policzer, Jeff Brooks, and Yijin Wen; architect Julio Gombero; MOSAIC Director of Finance & Administration, Sue Trevor, and Eyob Naizghi, Executive Director.

The new MOSAIC location is easily accessible by public transit (Joyce-Collingwood Skytrain Station) and is 45% larger than our previous headquarters. Three classrooms open up to a conference space that accommodate up to 160 people and an expanded community meeting room hosts up to 90 people.
