RBC donates $17,000 to support youth programs

October 4, 2018

In front of an audience of approximately 300 immigrant professionals, RBC Royal Bank’s Erwin Kong and Michael Choi presented a $17,000 donation from RBC Foundation in support of MOSAIC’s Redirecting Youth Through Empowerment Program.

MOSAIC extends its sincere thanks to RBC Royal Bank who has been a loyal partner for many years. This gift demonstrates their corporate commitment to setting a foundation of support for youth, for today and the future.

Marc Larrivée, Senior Manager, Specialized Programs at MOSAIC commented, “For a myriad of reasons newcomer youth to Canada are particularly vulnerable to being drawn into risky behaviour and situations but with appropriate guidance, support and community-building through MOSAIC, they can enhance their strengths to thrive here in BC. Thanks to RBC’s generous contribution, youth can continue to receive this valuable and necessary support as they navigate their lives in Canada.”

Redirecting Youth Through Empowerment offers at-risk youth ages 14-24 the opportunity to engage in activities that promote the development of pro-social skills and facilitate peer and community connections. To learn more, please visit mosaicbc.org/ryte.
