MOSAIC Employment Programs participated in last Saturday’s Training, Career and Job Fair hosted by the Multicultural Helping House Society at the St. Mary’s Ukrainian Centre. Visitors to our booth eagerly checked out our various programs and expressed interest in seeking professional support for their various job search needs. There was particular interest in the Skills Connect Program from many health professionals. The positive reception and interest our participation generated at the event was very encouraging. The team had an opportunity to meaningfully engage with clients and exhibitors, among them notable employers and service providers. Clients continually trooped to our booth and were provided with information, program brochures and give-aways. We took to the stage when the opportunity came to speak to the crowd about our programs, do a bit of MOSAIC Trivia, and announce the winner of our raffle draw. That was one fruitful, well-spent Saturday afternoon!
