Three MLAs from North Vancouver recently visited the North Shore English Language Centre to mark the funding of the new Workplace English Language Training Program. Naomi Yamamoto, MLA for North Vancouver-Lonsdale; Jane Thornthwaite, MLA for North Vancouver-Seymour and Jordan Sturdy, MLA for West Vancouver-Sea to Sky met with newcomers at the Centre and heard how Workplace English Training is helping them find the job they want.The Province has provided MOSAIC in partnership with the North Shore Multicultural Society $77,000 to offer two Workplace English classes. One is already underway. Registration is open for the second class starting in January.
