The Canadian Immigrant magazine hosted a Multicultural Women’s Conference and Fair in recognition of International Women’s Day on March 31 at the Croatian Cultural Center. Our Violence Prevention Program and Specialized Victim Services had the opportunity to participate and provide a “Women’s Safety and Violence Prevention Clinic.” Women from diverse backgrounds had the opportunity to hear inspirational speakers, visit tradeshow of exhibitors and employers and get expert advice on building their resume.
