On December 8th, MP Don Davies, Critic of Health, visited MOSAIC to learn more about our programs and services and to take a tour of MOSAIC’s new headquarters on Boundary Road in Vancouver.
Eyob Naizghi, Executive Director, joined by Ninu Kang, Director of Communications and Development, Joanne Chen, Manager of Children and Family Programs, Saleem Spindari, Manager of Refugee Settlement Support Projects, and Zarghoona Wakil, Manager of Settlement and Integration program (SIP) shared our work addressing challenges faced by immigrants and refugees, including youth and children, during their settlement in Canada.
Mr. Davies expressed the desire to learn and understand more about the experiences of newcomers and to work closely with MOSAIC on identifying key issues impacting newcomers settlement and committed to sharing them with his colleagues in Ottawa.
