With hiring slowing and competition for jobs intensifying, 2,500 job seekers chose to do something that no algorithm can replicate: show up in person. On May 12, MOSAIC hosted its 14th Annual Job Fair, bringing together job seekers and 50 employers for a full day of face-to-face hiring at a moment when that kind of access is harder to come by.
For many attendees, the draw was simple. In a job market dominated by online applications and automated screening, a direct conversation with an employer has become something of a rare advantage.

“I know that everything is digitalized nowadays, everything is on Indeed and LinkedIn,” said attendee Erica Tala. “But the person-to-person connection is much more impactful rather than just sending resumes mindlessly. Walking out of MOSAIC Job Fair 2026 has left me more confident and more prepared to take on the next chapter of my life.”

Employers came with the same intent. Moises Lasaleta Jr. from TNI The Network Inc. left with a shortlist of candidates headed to second-round interviews. “A lot of applicants from all walks of life, meaning a large pool of different people,” he said. “It feels more like a hiring event that is community based, so there are a lot of opportunities for employers and organizations to spread their reach.”
In keeping with MOSAIC’s commitment to equitable access, the fair offered early admission for persons with disabilities, ensuring every job seeker had a fair chance at making that first connection count.
Now in its 14th year, the MOSAIC Job Fair has become a fixture for both job seekers and employers who understand that hiring, at its best, is still a human endeavour.
