It was MOSAIC’s second year participating at the New West Pride celebration. The festival was held on August 14th, 2016, along Columbia Street, New Westminster.The day was filled with people from all walks of life, with people dressed in colourful costumes and with people dancing to the beat of live music. Despite the heat, it was a beautiful day and lots of people came out to show their support for the LGBTQ community.Many people stopped by at the MOSAIC’s I Belong booth asking questions about the organization, program and how they could give back to the community. I Belong was deeply inspired by the vibrant energy and support from the community!I Belong welcomes all LGBTQ newcomers and we meet twice a month.
