Are you a senior looking for an engaging activity in Burnaby? Join us for a meaningful celebration on October 1, 2025, as we honour National Seniors Day with our Multicultural Seniors Day event! This special occasion is a tribute to the rich experiences and diverse cultures of immigrant seniors, who play a vital role in our community. Hosted by the Seniors Club, this event is more than just a gathering; it is a celebration of the experiences, wisdom, and stories that come with aging.
On National Seniors Day, we come together to celebrate immigrant seniors who continue to shape our communities with their wisdom, imagination, and purpose. This year’s theme, “From What Is to What If,” invites us to honour the courage of seniors as they exercise their power to dream beyond limitations, reimagine what aging can look like, and transform everyday experiences into possibilities for growth and connection. Through their stories, performances, and leadership, seniors demonstrate how resilience and creativity can inspire all of us to embrace both the gifts of the present and the opportunities of the future.
This special event will feature captivating performances by immigrant seniors, heartwarming stories, and inspiring awards that will encourage you to embrace the incredible journey of aging, and the bravery and resilience modeled by immigrant seniors. Come celebrate the many facets of aging and the cultural heritages that enrich us all! The celebration includes a light lunch provided by MOSAIC.
The MOSAIC Seniors Club is for newcomer immigrants, refugee-immigrants, age 55+, and seniors from all ethnic communities who want group support, learning, and activities. Members can feel part of a community, make new friends and do fun-filled activities in a safe and inclusive environment.
