The Board Fair is part of MOSAIC’s SCOPE (Social and Civic Opportunities: Pathways to Equity) program, which equips racialized immigrants and newcomers with the knowledge, confidence, and tools to participate meaningfully in governance roles. With more than 150 program graduates across five cohorts, SCOPE continues to support community organizations in deepening inclusive leadership.
This event will also feature the graduation of SCOPE Cohort 5, whose members will be actively seeking opportunities to serve on boards and committees.

Who Should Attend?

This event is designed for
  • Nonprofits, charities, and community organizations
  • Public institutions and advisory committees
  • Boards seeking new members with diverse skills, experiences, and perspectives
  • Organizations wanting to learn more about inclusive governance and newcomer engagement

Organizations will have the opportunity to host a table at the fair, share upcoming board or committee opportunities, and engage directly with prospective applicants.

A short 10–15-minute introductory meeting will be scheduled with all registered organizations prior to the event.
