MOSAIC kicks off first Richmond job fair
MOSAIC organized its first job fair in Richmond on November 29th on behalf of employer members of the Business Association of Richmond. Earlier this fall, the association had hosted a dinner gala for many of MOSAIC’s refugee clients, in hopes that the welcome gesture would lead to refugees wanting to apply for jobs with members, who had been facing a chronic staff shortage for a few years.
Etab Saad, Manager, Case Management & Customized Employment Services, talked to OMNI TV – Cantonese at the job fair about some of the challenges refugees face when considering employment. The newcast is in Cantonese, but Etab speaks in English.
