On March 13th, MOSAIC’s Moving Ahead program held a “Multicultural Gala” event for their clients to celebrate multiculturalism at the Royal Palace Hall.The program included a cultural fashion show, various ethnic drumming and dance performances, a video with clients’ experiences within the Moving Ahead program, and certificate presentations to outstanding clients.Special guests joining the event included Peter Julian, Burnaby-New Westminster MP, Paul McDonnell, Burnaby City Councillor, and Sherman Chan, MOSAIC Director of Family and Settlement.After encouraging speeches to the attendees, each of our guests also presented certificates of recognition to clients who have been examples in actively participating in various program activities. Over all, Moving Ahead’s event was successful and greatly appreciated by the clients!
