MOSAIC was recently featured on Fairchild TV in coverage of the Bridges of Care Lunar New Year Community Celebration, a gathering for more than 170 seniors organized by immigrant-serving organizations across Greater Vancouver.
The celebration brought seniors together for lunch, music, cultural performances, Lunar New Year greetings, and opportunities for social connection, creating a warm and welcoming space to celebrate culture and community.
Organized by MOSAIC together with partner organizations from the Chinese Community Response Network (CRN), including S.U.C.C.E.S.S., Chimo Community Services, Alzheimer Society of BC and Yukon, Seniors First BC, and Vancouver and Lower Mainland Multicultural Family Support Services Society, the event highlighted how collaboration and community care help support seniors’ well-being and belonging.
