Celebrate Diversity Month 2025: Meet the World Next Door

April 1, 2025

What if your next adventure didn’t require a passport—just an open mind and a curious heart?

April is Celebrate Diversity Month, and there’s no better place to mark it than here in Vancouver. Home to people from more than 180 countries and over 100 languages, this city isn’t just diverse on paper—it’s alive with stories, flavours, art, and traditions from every corner of the world. Canada’s multicultural identity shines here, not as a slogan, but as a daily experience shared in parks, classrooms, kitchens, and conversations.

At MOSAIC, we live this richness every day. Diversity isn’t just something we talk about once a year—it’s the heartbeat of our work and the soul of our community. It’s in the laughter of newcomers making their first Canadian friends, in the courage of immigrant seniors stepping onto a stage, in the warmth of sharing a meal, a story, or a mother tongue.

So this April, we’re not just asking you to celebrate diversity—we’re inviting you to live it. Step outside your routine. Try something unfamiliar. And most of all, meet the world living right next door.

Here are some April Vancouver events that bring cultures and communities together:
