Introduction

MOSAIC builds relationships based on trust and responsibility.

At MOSAIC, we value the Rights & Responsibilities entitled to all clients in Canada. These reflect our shared traditions, identity, and values. This guide reflects the voice of our standards and values, and our expectations of clients.

Here is what you can expect as a client of MOSAIC:

Refusal of Service

You can refuse to give us certain information and can refuse all or part of the services we offer at any time. MOSAIC staff will explain the possible result of your refusal but will never treat you unfairly for your decisions.

Respect, Dignity & Care

MOSAIC staff and officers are safe places where everyone is treated with respect, dignity, and care.  You can expect quality service and fair treatment, free of discrimination. We strive to always let you know your options and the services available to you.

In Canada, your rights come with responsibilities. We ask that you:

  • treat other clients, staff, and volunteers with respect and dignity
  • respect the privacy of others
  • honour diversity
  • follow through with your agreements to MOSAIC staff
  • inform MOSAIC staff if you are unable to attend an appointment
