Language Centre Volunteering
Language is the key that opens many doors!
Learning English is important for newcomers to settle in Canada. As a volunteer in the MOSAIC English Language Programs, you will play a direct role in the language development of newcomers. Volunteers give the extra attention that can make all the difference.
Language Centre Volunteers support our team of LINC instructors in the roles of Conversation Circle Facilitators and Classroom Support Volunteers.
Language Centre Volunteers are
- age 19 or over
- speak advanced level English
- experience teaching adults or TESOL is an asset

Where can I volunteer with MOSAIC Language Programs?
We have three different locations for volunteers including Burnaby, Vancouver and Surrey. We also have remote classes which provide opportunities for volunteers to share their skills and passion from any remote location in BC into our remote classes.
When are there volunteer opportunities available?
There are opportunities in three terms through the year: Winter (Jan -March), Spring/Summer (April – July), Fall (Sept – Dec).
What volunteer opportunities do you have in MOSAIC Language Programs?
There are two exciting roles including our Conversation Circle Facilitators and Classroom Support Volunteers.
