Support for Women Experiencing Violence

We provide free and confidential support for women experiencing or at risk of abuse or violence 

Our Support Worker will create a safe space for clients and help  them live a safe life in BC. Our services are free, confidential, and focus on our client’s unique needs.

Our services are offered by phone, email and in-person. For In-person services we encourage you to book an appointment with us.

Eligibility

Multicultural Outreach Services are available to:

  • Self-identified women

 

  • Living in Metro Vancouver Area

 

  • Over the age of 19

 

If you don’t meet these criteria, you may still be eligible for MOSAIC’s Multicultural Victim Services (MVS).

Program Description

We provide services to adult women who have experienced, or are at risk of, abuse, threats, or violence, in an intimate relationship; including historical sexual abuse and sexual assault.

Services include:

  • Emotional support
  •  Information on your rights and the law
  • Advocacy, safety planning and practical assistance (ex. Housing applications)
  • Information and referrals to community and/or justice related support services (ex. Transition House Referrals).

We can also connect you with our Stopping The Violence Counselling (STV) Program.
