Relationship Violence Prevention Program-Cultural Edition (RVPP-CE)

Preventing Relationship Violence

There are many triggers that lead to relationship violence. The Relationship Violence Prevention Program-Cultural Edition (RVPP-CE) is for men who have used violence in relationships in the past. We help you learn to prevent these acts from happening in the future.

This is a court-mandated program and referrals are received only from B.C. Corrections Probation Officers.

We help men to:

  • Learn constructive ways to deal with conflict
  • Identify personal triggers
  • Develop stress management skills and strategies
  • Move past aggression, to identify and express a fuller range of emotions
  • Learn factors that contribute to domestic violence

This program is for multicultural men who:

  • Court-mandated to attend

  • Have used violence in relationships

  • Have been referred by BC Corrections probation officers
