The Canadian Language Benchmarks (CLBs) are a national, standardized system of measuring a person’s English language proficiency in Listening, Speaking, Reading and Writing English.
The CLBPT results can help you understand your language level according to the leading Canadian standard for measuring English, and can be used for placement into language training programs or workplace training programs with a language component.

Yes, this test is paid.
The in-person test is $130 and the remote test is $150 (all inclusive).
Due to the extra work required for registering students online there is an additional registration fee of $20 for our remote test.
No, we take all categories of newcomers. You can also take the remote test from any part of Canada and do not need to be living in the Lower Mainland.

To register for your CLBPT test you will need a valid ID. It has to be a valid government issued photo ID. Examples of this could be your:
Make sure to bring the same document to test session that you used during registration.
Test results are sent to the candidate’s email within 2 business days after the Test Day.
You may transfer or cancel your test 10 days before your test (excluding the test date) for no extra charge.
For Test Transfer or Test Cancellation requests made 5-10 days before the Test Date (excluding the Test date), charges will be $20
Cancellations are not accepted within 5 days of the Test Day (excluding the test date)
