Step Ahead won the Soma Ganesan Spirit of Hope Award at the Cross Cultural Mental Health Conference. MOSAIC was the lead agency of a five agency consortium (ISSofBC, DiverseCity, Burnaby Family Life and SUCCESS) for the project that wrapped up at the end of September. The award is granted to a program that enhances the mental health of newcomers. With the recognition, MOSAIC received a $1,000 award that has been earmarked to Moving Ahead, the successor to Step Ahead.
