School Kids Raise Funds for Refugees!

December 20, 2015

Ted Coomb’s Grade 3 and 4 students from David Livingstone Elementary School in Vancouver were moved by the plight of the Syrian refugees and wanted to help. They came up with the idea of a midway, and made arcade games out of cardboard, and then invited other students to play. The innovative (and fun!) initiative raised $466.75, which has been donated to MOSAIC to help settle the Syrian newcomers. THANK YOU MR. COOMBS and your GRADES 3 & 4 STUDENTS!The letter:Teacher's Letter
