Newcomers Graduate from MOSAIC IT Program

April 6, 2017

MOSAIC’s first group of participants in the Fast Track to IT (FIT) program has celebrated their graduation. Fourteen newcomers received Systems Analysis and Software Quality Management Certificates after completing ten weeks of training at the Poludo Institute. Participants learned software test theories and methodologies and became familiar with many programs, such as Java, SQL, Load Runner and Jira. They will now move on to workplace practicums. One graduate, though, is going straight into an IT job. Eran Mor says the program “is a powerful formula” that provides newcomers with “relevant, up-to-date strong skills in a short period of time.” He thanks MOSAIC for giving him and his family “this great life changing opportunity.”

MOSAIC is currently recruiting newcomers interested in taking part in a second round of training and practicums. To learn more, please visit mosaicbc.org/fit.
