MOSAIC wins “Best Workplace Managed by Women” designation

December 10, 2019

In December, the Great Place to Work Institute certified MOSAIC as one of Canada’s “Best Workplaces Managed by Women”. MOSAIC is led by Chief Executive Officer, Olga Stachova, and it is the second time the organization has been recognized with this distinction which was initially awarded in 2018.

MOSAIC is already certified to be one of the top national workplaces for 2019 – one of only seven non-profit organizations across Canada with this honour and was advised this past fall that it had also been designated as a Best Workplace in British Columbia.

The certifications are determined by both employee input and an audit of MOSAIC’s workplace culture by the Great Place to Work Institute.

The competition process is based on two criteria: two-thirds of the total score comes from confidential employee survey results and the remaining one-third comes from an in-depth review of the organization’s culture. This offers a rigorous representation of the organization from an employee perspective, and an overall portrait of the workplace culture. Together, they provide crucial data relative to five trust-building dimensions: credibility, respect, fairness, pride, and camaraderie.

In 2019, over 80,000 employees with 400 companies participated in the 2019 “Best Workplaces™ in Canada” surveys.
