The Immigrant Employment Council of BC has honoured MOSAIC with an award for “Leadership and Commitment” for its role as a founding partner in the new MentorConnect Program.IEC-BC held its first Leadership Recognition Awards event on April 9, 2015, at the Terminal City Club in Vancouver. A total of nine awards were handed out in five categories which included: organizations; member associations; immigrant serving organizations; professional immigrant networks and individuals.Eyob Naizghi, Executive Director for MOSAIC, collected the award on behalf of the organization and said “This recognition goes to MOSAIC staff who have been promoting the MentorConnect Program for the benefit of their clients.”Since its inception in 2008, MOSAIC has worked closely with IEC-BC, whose mission is the stimulate the integration of skilled immigrant talent into the BC workforce.
