MOSAIC Receives grant for youth gang violence prevention programming

Minister of Public Safety and Solicitor General Mike Morris announced funding for organizations working to safeguard vulnerable young people from gang involvement.Through Civil Forfeiture Funding, MOSAIC’s Redirecting Youth Through Empowerment (RYTE) program has received $100,000 to continue providing youth gang violence prevention work across the Lower Mainland. Pro-social activities such as one to one counselling support, violence prevention group programming, outreach and education will be provided to at-risk youth to decrease the risk factors associated with gang and/or criminal engagement.For more information about the RYTE program, please visit or contact at 604 254 9626.MOSAIC funding
