MOSAIC staff in Burnaby and Vancouver – and some staff from partnering agencies – participated in an anti-racism campaign that asks supporters to raise their hands as a show of support for diversity. Now in its third year, “Raise Your Hands Against Racism” is a local initiative started by Spice Radio that has gained traction nationally and even internationally.
The anti-racism campaign is largely digital, as participants post photos of themselves to their social media channels with the hashtag #HandsAgainstRacism. The campaign concludes in March.
