MOSAIC launches Vibrant in Vancouver

February 23, 2021

A 10-day virtual series to live vibrantly

On Monday, March 1, MOSAIC will launch an innovative virtual series: Vibrant in Vancouver – 10 days of short, daily wellness sessions for refugee claimants, service providers, and members of the wider community.

Developed by MOSAIC’s Refugee Settlement and Integration Program team, these energetic sessions will be led alongside partners: MADO Photography, Vancouver Association for Survivors of Torture, Victoria Coalition for Survivors of Torture, and Adni Joga, with funding from the Province of British Columbia.

Participants will come together virtually and explore thought-provoking topics such as community connection during COVID-19, mindfulness, morning routines for success, yoga and photography.

“For many people, the pandemic has led to feelings of stress, anxiety, and isolation. These sessions will provide a daily breath of fresh air. We are excited to support each other through this free program, to come together virtually and maximize the positivity in our daily lives,” said Alexandra Dawley, Manager of MOSAIC’s Refugee Settlement and Integration Program.

Vibrant in Vancouver will be hosted daily from March 1 – 10 from 10 to 10:20 a.m. To register and receive the Zoom link, please email refugeeclaimant@mosaicbc.org by Friday, February 26.
