MOSAIC Job Options BC had a joint Graduation ceremony for Vancouver Intake 24 and Burnaby Intake 19 on March 12, 2015. Both groups have been very successful in finding jobs upon completion of the program. Participants shared their success stories with each other and the staff of Job Options. Many had trained together during their Short Term Certificate training and were happy to see each other again. Many will keep in touch with each other now that the program is over.Executive Director Eyob Naizghi provided the group with words of inspiration and congratulated them all on their hard work.Participants have found jobs as: Telecommunication Technician, Electrical Technician, Baristas (3), Production Worker/Crane Operator, Airport Customer Service Agent, Cashier (2), Machine Operator, Hostess, Accounting Clerk, Sales Associate, Office Admin Assistant, Server, and Crew Member.Comments from some participants:Job Options BC program is an excellent program. It helped me find my first job in Canada.This program has been very engaging, has been a personal growth experience, increased my confidence to meet potential employers, helped me to increase my network. I am happy that I have been a part of this program.It is really sad that this is the last batch for this program. I hope that this program will continue because it has really helped many immigrants who were finding ways to settle here.
