On May 10, more than 60 concerned and creative leaders attended a forum focused on solutions to address the urgent shelter and housing needs of refugee claimants in BC.
The forum was hosted by MOSAIC and organized in partnership with United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, Kinbrace, Journey Home Community, Inasmuch Society, Catholic Charities Shelter Services and Homelessness Services Association of BC.
The one-day forum provided participants with the opportunity to discuss responsibilities, capacities and opportunities of government, business, not-for-profit and inter-governmental organizations. A report of the recommendations and points of discussion will be made available shortly.
