MOSAIC exceeds United Way fundraising goal!

November 28, 2016

From November 7-18, MOSAIC held its annual fundraising campaign for United Way Lower Mainland with the goal of raising $8,000 from staff members. Staff led various activities to raise funds including a bake sale ($937.70), Afghani lunches prepared by volunteers from our women’s group ($380.44), a 50/50 draw ($88), dress down stickers ($435) and a live auction of items donated by staff ($1,501). Additionally, $4,705 was raised from dozens of staff via traditional pledge forms.

In total, MOSAIC raised $8,047.14 for United Way this year, exceeding our goal, as well as the amount raised in last’s year campaign ($7,235).

Our thanks to MOSAIC staff for their generous contributions, and to all the volunteers who gave their time and energy in making this year’s campaign so successful. United Way contributes greatly to our community, as well as directly to our work here at MOSAIC. We are very happy to fundraise for them once again.
