MOSAIC was announced as a finalist for the Burnaby Board of Trade Excellence Award in the Not-For-Profit Organization of the Year category. The 15th Annual BBOT nominations were awarded October 9, 2014, at the Hilton Vancouver Metrotown in Burnaby. There were a total of nine categories and 43 finalists announced at the well-attended lunch reception.Attending the event on behalf of MOSAIC were Abraham Asrat and Maria Poe from Employment Programs, and Dianna Lee with the Marketing and Communications department, who collected the nomination plaque from Burnaby Mayor, Derek Corrigan.Executive Director Eyob Naizghi said, “MOSAIC does a lot of good work in Burnaby, and we have a real presence there. I’m very proud that our Burnaby staff were recognized and acknowledged by clients, who nominated us for this honour from the Burnaby Board of Trade.”
