On June 9th, 30 international medical graduates (IMGs) attended the Open Discussion session at MOSAIC’s Grant Street office, hosted by MOSAIC Skills Connect Program. The IMG Seminar was led by MOSAIC Skills Connect client Dr. Lalji Halai, an IMG from Kenya who managed to complete all his medical licensing exams in an 11-month period while working full time in a retail supervisory position.Dr. Halai is currently in the Clinical Assessment Practice Program and will apply for UBC residency this October. The session was well-received and various topics, including MCCEE, Q1, Q2, NAC OSCE as well as CAPP were discussed.
