MOSAIC celebrated Canada’s 149th birthday at the Edmonds Plaza and Park in Burnaby on July 1st, 2016! Hundreds of community members, local organizations and municipal government representatives got together at this event. With lively musical performances and various family activities facilitated at a number of stations, the Edmonds Plaza was filled with excitement and joy. MOSAIC’s booth was one of the most popular ones and it attracted a lot of visitors with family fun activities, twisty balloons, spin-the-wheel with Canadian trivia & giveaways, henna, face painting and the international mapping exercise which traces where we are originally from. Also, many newcomers learned about services and programs offered at MOSAIC and built a connection with our organization.Thank you staff members and volunteers for your amazing work making this event successful!
