An Epic Bake Sale at West Point Grey Academy has raised $1051.10 for MOSAIC. Students from K – 12 hosted five bake sale sites in December to raise funds to help Syrian refugees. “The passion of a handful of students in a grade five class spread like wildfire and what was to be a small bake sale became a school-wide event,” says Molly Young, grade five teacher. This bake sale was special because each student was required to make their item, which gave children the hands-on experience of doing something good for the community.Founded in 1996, West Point Grey Academy empowers children to learn the value of giving and helping others.
