Congratulations to Janet Dench, Executive Director of the Canadian Council for Refugees being awarded the degree of Doctor of Sacred Letters, honoris causa, from Regis College, the Jesuit School of Theology at the University of Toronto on 23 November 2013.Janet’s address, at the convocation ceremony, was inspirational and supportive of our commitment to serve immigrants and refugees. Her magnificent address has brought many people to tears. Janet Dench is MOSAIC’s friend and supporter. Sherman Chan, Director of Family and Settlement Service is currently the co-chair of Immigration and Settlement Working Group and MOSAIC is a member and supporter of the Canadian Council for Refugees (CCR).
