Biniiam Woldegabir recently celebrated his 30th birthday with a gift of hope! He turned his milestone birthday into an opportunity and, with help from friends and family, raised $5,300 for MOSAIC.
Biniiam and his mother came to Canada as refugees when Biniiam was only three years old; his mother had fled the Eritrean War of Independence and gave birth to Biniiam in a refugee camp. Through support programs and other help, their family was able to rise above challenges to build successful lives in Canada.
Thank you Biniiam; your passion to help others and raise awareness for MOSAIC is an inspiration to us all, and your contribution will greatly support our work with refugees and other newcomers.
