This program provides community support, one-on-one help, referrals for settlement needs, and counselling. We also have monthly programs for members:

Meet with other transgender, non-binary, and gender diverse newcomers. Beyond Borders and Binaries (BBB) is facilitated every month by community members with lived experience in collaboration with registered clinical counselors. Participants can learn about community resources, share experiences, and find support in a space that is understanding and safe for transgender, non-binary, and gender diverse newcomers.

May 17 is the International Day Against Homophobia, Transphobia, and Biphobia

This day marks the World Health Organization’s (WHO) decision to declassify homosexuality as a mental disorder in 1990 — an important step in the fight against homophobia.

The 2024 theme is “No one left behind: equality, freedom and justice for all.” It is a call for unity: only through solidarity for each other will we create a world without injustice, where no one is left behind.

MOSAIC BC is proud to recognize and support the diversity of our members and staff, and to join in the fight against discrimination based on an individual’s sexual orientation and/or gender identity.
