But walking into a job fair unprepared can be overwhelming. That’s why we’ve designed this interactive Job Fair Preparation Workshop to help you feel confident and ready. \nThis free online session will guide you through practical strategies to: \n\n\nMake a strong first impression \n\n\nCommunicate your skills and experience effectively \n\n\nPrepare questions to ask employers \n\n\nFollow up with new connections after the event \n\n\n\nWho Should Attend?\nThis workshop is open to Refugee Claimants\, Open Work Permit Holders\, Study Permit Holders\, and Naturalized Citizens who are interested in gaining job search skills and becoming more confident in networking environments. \nIf you’ve ever wondered: \n\n\n“What should I say when I meet a recruiter?” \n\n\n“How do I talk about my experience if I’m new to Canada?” \n\n\n“What should I bring or prepare before a job fair?” \n\n\nThis workshop is for you. \n\nWhat You Can Expect\nDelivered in English by experienced facilitators\, this session will include real-world scenarios\, mock interactions\, and tips you can immediately put into practice.
