This free event is open to all\, including those interested in joining our Enhancing Healthy Relationships Program (EHRP). \n\nDate: March 20\, 2024\nTime: 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM\nLocation: 5575 Boundary Road\, Vancouver\n\nAt MOSAIC BC\, we understand the importance of addressing feelings of loneliness\, especially among multicultural couples. This workshop will provide practical strategies for fostering a supportive network and creating a sense of belonging. \nKey Workshop Highlights: \n\nCommunity Resources: Learn about counseling services\, support groups\, and cultural organizations available to help combat feelings of loneliness.\nBuilding a Support Network: Discover how to build connections within your community to reduce isolation and strengthen relationships.\n\nProgram Enrollment: This workshop is part of our ongoing Enhancing Healthy Relationships Program (EHRP)\, which offers free resources and interpretation services to immigrant\, refugee\, and visible minority couples. \nWe support multicultural couples with: \n\nLearning constructive ways to deal with conflict\nIdentifying personal triggers\nDeveloping stress management skills and strategies\nMoving past aggression to identify and expressing a fuller range of emotions\nLearning factors that contribute to domestic violence\n\nPsychoeducation Groups \nEach group includes 5 couples who meet with a facilitator 1-2 times a week\, for a total of 6 sessions (60 minutes per session). This option requires couples to be on a waitlist; couples will be contacted once a group is available. \nWellness Workshops \nOpen to couples and their support person(s) 1-2 times a month. Each workshop is 60 minutes long and can be online or in-person.
