DESCRIPTION:Fun\, Free\, and Educational Activities for Children Ages 6–12\nAre you a newcomer parent living in New Westminster? Looking for a fun\, educational\, and welcoming activity for your child this summer? Enrol them in our School’s Out Summer Reading Club for Newcomer Kids\, a free program designed for children ages 6 to 12. \nThis interactive reading club takes place over 16 afternoons from July 22 to August 15\, 2025\, at the Welcome Centre in New Westminster. Sessions run from 1:30 PM to 3:30 PM. \nThrough games\, storytelling\, and hands-on learning\, children will grow their love for reading\, build vocabulary\, and make new friends in a safe and inclusive space. \nWho Can Join?\nThis program is free and open to newcomer children aged 6–12 who reside in New Westminster. DESCRIPTION:Back by popular demand after an incredible 2024–2025 run that drew 1300+ audience members\, the musical theatre production “Seniors Take on Things We Never Talk About” returns this August to Main Stage at Surrey Arts Centre!  \nThrough a unique blend of humour\, music\, and heartfelt storytelling\, this production explores aging stereotypes\, elder abuse\, and the power of connection—challenging societal perceptions while celebrating the strength\, resilience\, and wisdom of seniors. \nPerformance Dates: \n\nAugust 06\, 2025: 6:30-8:00 PM\nAugust 07\, 2025: 2:00-3:30 PM & 6:30-8:00 PM\nAugust 08\, 2025: 2:00-3:30 PM & 6:30-8:00 PM\n📍 Venue: Main Stage at Surrey Arts Centre – 13750 88 Ave\, Surrey\, BC\, V3W 3L1. \n\nAdmission is FREE\, but seats are limited!
